Enjoy the fascinating landscape of the Dolomites in all its facets and charm – no matter whether you are hiking, climbing, biking, paragliding, horse riding, golfing, swimming etc. You will find endless offers on our highest high plateau of Europe, the Seiser Alm and in the surrounding villages Seis, Kastelruth and Völs.
St. Oswald lies below Kastelruth and Seis at the sea level of 743m on a hilly, really sunny plateau at the foot of the Seiser Alm and the Schlern massif with its two craggy "index fingers", the Santner and the Euringer peaks. All this landscape is embedded in healthy forests as well as meadows and fields. There are many paths leading to St. Oswald and it can be said that they are among the most beautiful hiking trails of the area around the Schlern. You will experience a special atmosphere in spring, the time when the snow is still glittering from the surrounding peaks and in St. Oswald the first trees start wearing their amazingly beautiful flower dresses. This contrast of colours and atmosphere transforms the landscape into a surprising and exceptional sight to behold.
